About the Organization

In a response to a desire to synergize and promote the Annual Caribbean Carnival of Baltimore as the best and largest in the U.S.A. Disablity Insurance, we, the members, pledge and forge a system of cooperation among ourselves and the public, to enhance a self-propelling business mechanism for the creation of [a theater without walls] a viable business enterprise.

The Caribbean Carnival Association of Baltimore will strive to provide forums for:

• The development of the Caribbean music in the following areas: Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Parang, Steel Band, Artistic Designs and Festival Promotions
  
  
• The parading and displaying of artistic forms, which would encourage our children to see themsleves as creators and masters of their destiny
  
  
• The removal of ethnic barriers through the splendor of music, art, dance and relaxation thus creating a sense of well-being
  
  
• Through family unity, the Caribbean Community takes three(3) days out of the year for creativity, relaxation and the releasing of the everyday tensions of life
  
  
• Members to discuss artistic expression and fantasies, and reproduce them as fantastic colorful designs;
  
  
• The manufacturing of Arts and Crafts related to Caribbean culture.
